How to recreate Heidi Klum’s iconic Halloween make-up looks at home… including that legendary skinned human costume
HEIDI Klum is the undisputed Queen of Halloween.
The German supermodel, 44, never fails to amaze fans with her yearly transformations in to something totally out of the ordinary... and usually a tad bonkers.
Last year Heidi attended her annual Halloween bash as a CLONE of herself.
Flanked by five similarly leggy models wearing prosthetic make-up to look like the stunning star, Heidi managed to surprise fans who wondered how she would out-do 2015's Jessica Rabbit look.
Heidi once said that it was "Halloween all year round" in her house, but she definitely saves the best for October 31st.
The Project runway star's love of all things ghoulish isn't only a highlight of the year for fans, her amazing transformations have inspired several bloggers to recreate her ghoulish looks at home.
Here we look at five of the best.
Old woman
In 2013 Heidi dressed up as a pensioner complete with varicose veins and thinning, papery skin.
She said the inspiration was her 40th birthday, and being the subject of a lot of chat about ageing.
Heidi told People: "There was so much talk about me turning 40 this year and what it felt like to be older.
"I thought, really? I will show you old!"
While she called upon an Oscar-winning make-up team, pulls off a similar look using just eyeliner and a palette of brown eyeshadow.
Skinned human
One of Heidi's most out there looks was 2011's 'skinned corpse'.
At the time she explained her inspiration as: "This year I wanted to be a dead person and have all of my skin ripped off.
"It's basically like me naked. Except I don't feel naked because its so colourful."
Again is here to recreate the look at home, relying on body paints and blushers to create a terrifying - and painful Halloween makeover.
Vampire
In 2005, Heidi wore her heart on her, um chest, as she attended her party dressed as a thirsty vampire.
With a huge nest of jet black curls and inch-long fangs, the model looked like a descendant of iconic Germanic blood sucker Nosferatu.
While blogger doesn't go that far, she does play homage to Heidi with some excellent threadveins and burst blood vessels around the eyes.
Crow
Unless you're some sort of part-time Big Bird impersonator AND goth, it's near impossible to imitate Heidi's incredible crow costume from 2009.
Three weeks after having a baby, Heidi swooped in to her annual bash as one of the ominous black birds, her husband Seal in a matching look.
However, has come up with a sexy avian alternative, and excitingly it involves feathered eyebrows and long black talons.
Cat
Every good witch needs a cat, but Heidi made the feline +1 the main event in 2007.
She claimed it was because she wanted a look that was "super comfortable" and allowed her to dance after her look from the year before proved to be a bit cumbersome.
As Heidi was nine months pregnant she attended the party dressed as a giant apple - and not only did it mean she couldn't fit in to a normal car, but she also couldn't get a drink to her mouth.
Blogger has a really cute cat look that promises to make dancing and drinking as easy as pie.
Betty Boop
The 1930s cartoon character continues to inspire - even at age 80.
In 2002, Heidi dressed up as the saucy 2D minx for her Halloween party, and it's a look that still looks stunning fifteen years later.
Blogger has come up with an equally convincing makeover, and dare we say it, she even looks even MORE like the iconic bimbo than Heidi.
Jessica Rabbit
In 2015 Heidi pulled on a prosthetic bum to fill a red sequinned dress to transform in to the love interest from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
She spent 9 hours having latex added to her face, bum and boobs in order to recreate the OTT hourglass shape of the sultry Disney babe.
However, blogger can do it on a much quicker turnaround - and her results are equally impressive.
If make-up tutorials and feathery eyebrows aren't your thing, B&M are selling Halloween costumes from just £16.99.
