‘Lightning bolt’ brows are the latest crazy eyebrow trend to take the beauty world by storm – and David Bowie would be proud

SHAPING your brows is no longer a case of simply reaching for the tweezers and giving them a quick once over.
This year we've seen a whole host of bonkers eyebrow trends, from "triple brows" to on-fleek feathers.
Now the latest look to take Instagram by storm is the lightning bolt brow - and David Bowie would be proud.
The unusual design is the work of make-up artist , who posted snaps of her creations on her Instagram page.
And unlike some of the more avant-garde eyebrow creations - YouTube star Huda Kattan's golden arches, anyone? - they actually look pretty chic.
Zakia used Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade (£15) to create her razor-sharp points, as well as Fenty Beauty Trophy Wife highlighter on the lid to complete the look.
The brows received a mixed reaction in the comments section, despite the fact they earned more than 23,000 likes, but many were quick to compliment her unique creation.
One Instagram user wrote: "Omg artsy 80's Bowie all combined. Blowing my mind!"
Another commented: "This is the only look I love of all the funny brows."
Since her post earlier this week, others have tried to replicate the unusual look.
MAC make-up artist Marel of her design, for which she used MAC Silver pigment, clear lipgloss, a spiked brow pencil, dark brunette pomade and a kohl eyeliner.
