Six wedding guests turn up to their friend’s big day in the SAME £95 dress
Debbie Speranza, from Sydney, took to the clothing label's Facebook page and advised them to set up a "bridal registry" to help others avoid the style blunder
YOU would be forgiven for thinking this was a bride posing with her maids.
But these six women are actually all guests, who arrived at the wedding in the same £95 .
The hilarious mishap prompted one of the women to post on the clothing label’s page, encouraging use of a “bridal registry” to help others avoid the blunder they did.
Sydney-based Debbie Speranza, who is standing on the right-hand side of the bride, wrote: “You really should start a bridal registry so that your customers can inquire whether anyone else has purchased one of your dresses for the same event.”
The comical post, written on Sunday, has since gone viral with over 38,000 likes and 9,000 amused comments.
“No we are NOT the bridesmaids just the guests. Think I deserve a gift voucher for all this advertisement [sic]”, she joked.
Social media users saw the funny side and applauded the women for looking so glam.
“Hahaha!!! This is priceless. Beautiful dress,” wrote one Facebook contributor, as another added: “OMG worst nightmare.”
IS IT ALL WHITE? Would you forgive your mum-in-law if she bought a ‘WEDDING’ dress to wear on your big day?!
“It looks good on all of them too!” posted one admirer, as another said: “Hehehe I thought oh wow I love their bridesmaid dresses! Lol… just shows you all have good taste.”
One woman believed the best way to handle the situation was to “laugh it off”.
The Debbie Lace Pencil Dress is navy, has a rear zip and button fastening, and has a shorter nude slip.
It is currently available in sizes four to 16 online.
“Make an entrance-worthy appearance in this gorgeous navy blue lace pencil dress, perfectly tailored to flatter and accentuate your figure,” the brand states.
“Style with nude accessories to keep the look chic and effortless.”
Meanwhile, women have opened up about the ugly side of being a bridesmaid.
And, a mother of the bride sent jaws dropping after writing a brutal letter about the maid of honour.
