WOMEN have opened up about the ugly side of being a bridesmaid - and their confessions are very eye-opening.
, one woman even revealed that she's no longer friends with her bridezilla mate.
"It was an absolute nightmare and EXPENSIVE," she said, adding that she spent £1,100 on the wedding.
"To top it off, after the whole wedding was done and over... the bride decided to charge drinks she got at the bar after the wedding to my room, that amounted to over $200 (£147)!
"That's just a smidgen of the horror that was this wedding.
"We are no longer friends, as she is a disaster of a person, but at least she gets to see my face in her wedding photos every time she looks at them".
"My dad's wedding was a disaster," added NinjaShira, who was a bridesmaid for his wife.
"She had a friend do makeup and hair, and we all ended up looking like cheap 80's hookers.

"Then halfway through the ceremony, two of her friends got up from the audience and stood up at the front with the bridesmaids, acting like they were one of them.
"And to top it all off, when I left the church, I went out to the parking lot, and someone had slashed all four of my tires. Hooray."
"I hated every moment. It didn't help that the bride and I weren't really close," Nicoleoliepolie wrote.
"We had to pay for our own dresses and she went for the priciest option (which is a lot to ask from a bunch of 18 yr olds)..."
But Nakita1974's hilarious assessment of the situation will make anyone who's encountered a bridezilla chuckle.
She said: "Brides are insane. High maintenance insane. I have been a bridesmaid 7 times they are insane.
"It is only one day but what a magical day it is. I say embrace the insanity and put up with her crazy even when you feel like punching her.
"Weddings are wonderful. But expect when you're a bridesmaid it's code for slave".
While some women thought it was the OTHER bridesmaids who were the biggest pain.
On the topic of the hen do, duckface08 said: "one of the bridesmaids pipes up about the bachelor party (stag do) plans and says that the current bachelorette (hen do) plans are not as good.
"The maid of honour felt so bad about it that she ended up stressing a lot over it and changed things at the last minute, at the insistence of one or two other bridesmaids.
"I mostly stayed out of it... but I was pretty miffed that someone would insist on changing things at the last minute after the maid of honour already worked so hard to make plans.
"I'm sure the bride would have been happy with the first set of plans."
And hungry bridesmaid bigbreathein24 added of her bridezilla:"We had a hair appointment at 7:30 AM. Pictures at 1 PM, ceremony started at 4:30.
"I stopped at a 7-11 to get granola bars because she said she'd lose it if we got fast food. Nightmare."
