How many retro toys do YOU remember? Take a look back at Argos’ 1980-90s catalogues for the ultimate nostalgic fun

The Argos catalogue may soon be a thing of the past - but over the years they have captured some of our favourite childhood crazes

FLICKING through the Argos catalogue at Christmastime is a memory that many Brits will be fond of.

And over the years, we've seen all manner of different toys being advertised.

In the 1980s and 90s, many parents snapped up Barbies, Etch-A-Sketch and Mr Frosty to put under their festive trees.

Technology was booming, and the era saw the release of some of Nintendo's first ever consoles.

Many will be disappointed that the retail giant is starting to ditch its catalogue in stores as more shoppers head online.
