Jeremy Kyle met with Mandy, who explained that her family had broken down after her siblings were put into care.

She revealed: "At home there was a lot of violence and domestic abuse.

"My older sister was taken into care first, then I was taken with another sister.

"I was about seven... it was scary, horrible, but it saved us in a sense."

Mandy, who has five siblings, doesn't celebrate birthdays because of the trauma of her past.

At 17, she was also left homeless for three months as she struggled to get her life together.

All she wanted was to be reunited with her siblings that she lost contact with for more than a decade.

While not all of her family members were able to come on the show, Jeremy revealed that they wanted to forge a relationship with her.
