Originally shared on , these brilliant frights at the museum saw jokers posing beside their painted lookalikes to showcase the uncanny resemblance.
Many of the subjects in these paintings look so unnervingly similar to their modern day counterparts that people have questioned whether they could be distant relatives.
Some photos show people who seem to have the exact same faces as their lookalikes, while others are all in the hair or the outfits.
