GLITTER mayhem isn't showing any signs of slowing down this festival season.

We've seen glitzy boobs, bums and eyebrows, and now people are coating their tongues in the sparkles.

Jacinta Vukovic appears to be the makeup artist behind the hot trend.

She actually stumbled across the look by accident when she was testing out a new look.

Jacinta told her Instagram followers: "I was doing this lip look and got glitter on my tongue, so I thought I would embrace it and make it the main focus!!"

Since then, others have been replicating the look on social media.
