Nude blogger left furious after her Instagram account was deactivated… but she’s launched a new naked profile to spread ‘body positivity’
A NUDE blogger has hit out after her popular Instagram page was deactivated without warning.
Jessa O’Brien, 28, from Australia, ran the “body positive” feed and had amassed over 42,000 followers since launching in October 2016.
But, Jessa found herself back to zero after the account was suddenly deactivated.
She now believes that her profile was removed because it breached Instagram’s nudity policy.
Jessa posted on her website: “Nearly 10 months in, almost 43,000 followers later, and a hell of a lot of time, energy and effort… and they do this… Not one notification.
“Well, not good enough. I wasn’t even given the opportunity to rectify or negotiate the matter before they shut the account down.”
She added that she was “sure this has, unfortunately and unjustifiably, happened to many other accounts with pure intentions” and that being deactivated as a blogger had been “pretty crippling.”
She continued: “As most of you know, ‘body positivity’ is a major focus of my blog, and it is a recurring message I constantly talk about and convey through photos.
“So yes, nudity is a norm in my blog… albeit non-pornographic and non-sexual.
“It is not explicit in the slightest! It is a shame that nudity is still considered offensive, especially for the reasons I talk about.

“I agree, we need to stop sexualising the human body… and that is exactly what my photos and messages are aimed at doing!”
She went on to explain on her website that had been trying to liaise with Instagram to reinstate her page – but to no avail.
She wrote: “I woke up this morning to absolutely nothing.
“So I have since pestered the ‘support’ team a little more with another Facebook and Instagram message.”
Jessa has since launched a new Instagram feed where she’s started to share her artistic nude snaps again – but her followers are currently at just 794 compared to her huge following previously.
She has said that it was set-up “in the event I don’t get my previous account restored”.
