Manchester
Those who live near Manchester can take advantage of the Geronimo Kids Festival, which is at Arley Hall this year for the entire weekend.
The event is the UK's biggest kids festival and is taking place between the 25 and 28 May.
This year TV presenter Justin Fletcher will be taking to the main stage, and for those who want to stay the whole weekend, tents are also available to rent.
Day tickets start from £30 per person and under 2s and the elderly can attend for free.

The London Wetland Centre are hosting two weekends of animal-based fun with the introduction of Wild Weekends, where you can come face to face with creatures big and small.
The usual trails, canoe safaris and waterways are all open, but now you can book tickets to truly immerse yourself and handle insects and feed animals.
Only just outside Hammersmith, the centre is the best place to get a taste of nature without travelling too far.

On May 25 the BBC Wales hub will play host to Big Fish Little Fish – a family rave that brings together renowned DJs with fun activities for kids.

Hampshire
Fancy yourself as a bit of a “Ninja Warrior” combined with some intense watersports?
Head down to the New Forest Water Park for a day of fun on the inflatable water course – which as recently re-opened to have an even bigger and better inflatable experience.
