I work at M&S & here’s 9 dupes you must nab – an Aesop copy is £36 cheaper & our Whispering Angel alternative is spot on

IF the cost of living crisis has made your purse feel tighter than ever before, then you’ll need to check this out.
Thanks to a large selection of affordable buys from M&S, you’re sure to save cash without needing to scrimp on quality.
So if you want to fill up your cupboards and cut costs, you’ll have to listen up.
According to an M&S employee who works at The Exebridges Centre Retail Park in Exeter, here are nine brilliant dupes you’ll want to stock up on before they sell out.
Posting on social media, the M&S worker shared a short clip with the caption ‘Love a dupe’, leaving many totally stunned.
Alongside a snap of the stocked shelves, the foodie beamed: “M&S dupe finds!”
There’s all things from cheap food and hand wash to luxe fabric conditioner, but if wine is your thing, you’re in luck.
We’ve all seen the posh Whispering Angel rosé that’s gone viral online, but at £22.50 a bottle, it doesn’t come cheap.
However, thanks to the new M&S La Fioritura Bardolino rosé wine, which will cost shoppers just £8, you’re sure to be left beaming.
Not only is it a real steal, but according to the M&S employee, you “can not tell the difference for a fraction of the price” between this gorgeous wine, which is from Northern Italy, and Whispering Angel.
As well as this, if you can’t afford the Le Labo Rose 31 scented detergent, which has a jaw-dropping price tag of £46, you’ll need to get your hands on the M&S Concentrated Fabric Conditioner, which is only £3.50.
Thanks to its long-lasting fragrance and motion activated technology, your clothes will “smell expensive”.
The M&S employee described the high street copy, which is plant-based and contains biodegradable ingredients, including a mix of botanical and essential oils, as “such a good dupe”.
Additionally, if you’ve got a sweet tooth and love Tony’s Chocolonely, you’ll be overjoyed to see the M&S £3.50 copies.
There’s three different M&S Choc Marks bars to choose from - the first is packed with pretzels, caramel, sea salt and almonds, the second contains caramel, shortbread and chocolate crispies, whilst the third is full of chocolate candy beans, orange jellies and popping candy.
IT'S one of the world’s best-known — and loved — wines, but Whispering Angel comes at a price.
Made by French winery Château d’Esclans in Provence, it first hit the market in 2006 and transformed the fortunes of rosé vino.
Once dismissed by wine experts as a poor relative to red and white, rosé has become a year-round must-have thanks to Whispering Angel’s smart marketing, complex flavours and A-list fans including Adele and Victoria Beckham.
It’s now the most recognisable rosé wine around, selling one million cases each year in 106 countries. It’s even credited with introducing pink vino to Americans, with Nielsen ranking Whispering Angel as the best-selling rosé wine in the US.
Perfectly pale pink in the glass, it’s made from red grapes including grenache, cinsault and vermentino and is loved for its rich red berry ripeness, floral notes and smooth, bone-dry finish.
It can be drunk with everything from seafood to salad but is a dream all on its own, ideally served cold on a sunny day.
Yet at around £20 a bottle, it’s not an everyday wine unless you have a Beckham-sized budget. But — whisper it — there are some fantastic, similar-tasting vinos on the shelves so you won’t need to go without completely.
To help you find the perfect Whispering Angel dupe, we’ve sampled a range to see which one is the ultimate Provençal-style pink without the price tag.
Beaming with the delicious treats, the M&S employee hailed them “the perfect substitute for the best chocolate.”
In a similar vein, if you can’t get enough of Reese’s peanut butter cups, you’ll need to check out the M&S alternative which are priced at £1.35 a pack.
Not only do they look practically the same, but the M&S employee claimed: “Dare I say these taste better.”
As well as this, shoppers will also find a purse-friendly dupe for the Aesop Resurrection Hand Wash, which has a jaw-dropping price tag of £40.
Thanks to the CALM Apothecary Hand Wash, which is only £6, not only will you save £34, but your hands will smell fresh too.
But if it’s affordable beer you’re after, you won’t want to miss the Madri lager dupe.
The M&S Spanish Lager is £2.50 a bottle, to which the M&S worker simply beamed: “Beer on a budget.”
And for those after soft beverages, there’s dupes of Sanpellegrino for only £3.50 a pack.
The Sanpellegrino inspired drinks come in two flavours - Sicilian Lemon and Brazilian Orange - and according to the M&S employee, they “are a MUST during Spring/Summer.”
Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale revealed to Fabulous why M&S is the shop of the moment. She explained:
“M&S has really pulled it out of the bag this season, there is so much good product to be excited about.
“A brand once known for its ‘frumpy fashion’ that notion is long gone with it now being one of the leading high street stores for womenswear.
“Its handbag range in particular is super strong with them selling 170% vs plan, with lots more designer dupes for just a fraction of the price.
“The brand is now also the #1 for style perceptions, compared to the #3 spot it had last year, this comes from a really strong design team focused on modernising the brand, not only taking into consideration how the pieces look, but how easy they are to wear also.
“Price is also a big factor with you being able to get many good quality pieces all for under £30.
“After having a sneak peak of the upcoming collection there are so many more amazing pieces that are dropping over the next few months to keep your eyes on.
“Think leopard print dresses, colourful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and amazing accessories, as well as great wardrobe staples that will last year on year.”
And where food is concerned, if you like the Old El Paso fajita kits and want to save yourself 80p, you’ll need to nab the M&S version, which is priced at only £3.
Not only this, but to complete your haul, cereal lovers must prepare to run for the M&S copy of Kellogg’s Krave.
Whilst the milk chocolate cereal is sold for £3.50 in Sainsbury’s, thanks to the M&S milk and choco hazelnut pillows, which are just £1.20 a box, you’ll save a healthy £2.30 by ditching the big name brands.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 72,200 views in just two days.
But if you want to stock up on these affordable dupes, you’ll need to get your shoes on and head down to your local store as quickly as you can, before they sell out.
