THE mega fashion sale at Asda is one of the most highly-anticipated discounts of them all.
And now, luckily for shoppers looking to nab a haul of bargains, the exact date that the epic George at Asda sale begins has been revealed.
So if you’re eager to give your wardrobe a refresh for winter, but are on a tight budget thanks to the cost of living crisis, fear not, as Asda has got you covered.
Carole Ashfield, an Asda employee from the UK, took to social media to make the announcement, and it’s sent shoppers wild.
Posting on , a private Facebook group with 2.6million members, Carole shared the exciting news and wrote: “Just a heads up for those who buy George clothing at Asda.
“The sale starts in-store on Monday, and will be available online Sunday.”
Carole also confirmed that the Asda sale will be on “all areas” of fashion - from kids’ uniform to women’s styles.
But whilst Carole claimed that the mega sale will properly launch online this Sunday 16th February, eagle-eyed shoppers have already noticed that discounts have begun to emerge online, with many items already 50% off.
Prices start from just £1 - yes, you heard that correctly - and there’s all things from coats and slippers, to bikinis and knickers that have been slashed.
Not only will you find slashed to just £1, but there’s also , perfect for Valentine’s Day, for only £2.
That’s not all, as there’s also a large selection of nightwear that’s been reduced too, with that were once £18, now just £9.
As well as this, shoppers will also be able to get their hands on beautiful coats that are perfect for winter, for just a fraction of the price.
And if it’s a waterproof jacket you’re after, you’ll need to run, as there’s a , that’s been slashed from £48 to only £20.
In addition to this, fashionistas will be thrilled to spot slippers, with a trendy pair, which have been cut from £12 down to just £6.
And for those looking to update their handbag collection but without breaking the bank, you’ll need to move quickly, as there’s even a chic , which is less than a tenner.
But if it's little darlings you're looking for, parents will be overjoyed to spot reduced to £1, for £2 and even , perfect for school, reduced from £4.50 to just £2.

Take a whizz round the aisles in Asda it is hard not to notice how good the George at Asda clothing range is at the minute.
Add into the mix their recent collaboration with fashion designer Roksanda, celebrating 40 years of London Fashion Week, which is full of the designer's signature colour blocking dresses, oversized Borg fleeces and bold stripe co-ords, it is easy to see why the brand is on fire!
All proceeds from the range go to The British Fashion Council to help promote young designers, so a win win!

Facebook users were clearly left beaming with Carole’s announcement, as she shared her post just 16 hours ago, but it has already racked up almost 700 likes and 333 comments.

Shop the budget range
Savvy shopper Eilish Stout-Cairns recommends that shoppers grab items from Asda's Just Essentials range.
She said: "Asda's budget range is easy to spot as it's bright yellow! Keep your eyes peeled for yellow and you'll find their Just Essentials range.
"It's great value and I've found it has a much wider selection of budget items compared to other supermarkets.
Sign up to Asda Rewards
The savvy-saver also presses on the importance of signing up to Asda's reward scheme.
She said: "Asda Rewards is free to join and if you shop at Asda you should absolutely sign up.
"As an Asda Rewards member, you'll get exclusive discounts and offers, and you’ll also be able to earn 10% cashback on Star Products.
"This will go straight into your cashpot, and once you've earned at least £1, you can transfer the money in your cashpot into ASDA vouchers.

Look out for booze deals
Eilish always suggests that shoppers looking to buy booze look out for bargain deals.
She said: "Asda often has an alcohol offer on: buy six bottles and save 25%.
"The offer includes selected bottles with red, white and rose options, as well as prosecco. There are usually lots of popular bottles included, for example, Oyster Bay Hawkes Bay Merlot, Oyster Bay Hawkes Bay Merlot and Freixenet Prosecco D.O.C.
"Obviously, the more expensive the bottles you choose, the more you save."
Join Facebook groups
The savvy saver also recommends that fans of Asda join Facebook groups to keep in the know about the latest bargains in-store.
Eilish said: "I recommend joining the Latest Deals Facebook Group to find out about the latest deals and new launches in store.
"Every day, more than 250,000 deal hunters share their latest bargain finds and new releases.
"For example, recently a member shared a picture of Asda's new Barbie range spotted in store.
"Another member shared the bargain outdoor plants she picked up, including roses for 47p, blackcurrant bushes for 14p and topiary trees for 14p."
Another added: “Oh thank you will defo be having a look.”
A third commented: “Nice one, [I’ll] be skint again.”
Meanwhile, someone else tagged a loved one and advised: “Might be worth a look.”
