A WOMAN has defended her relationship after people accused her boyfriend of having a "big girl" fetish due to her plus-size frame.

Michelle Nayla, 26, frequently shares loved-up videos on her TikTok page, but she has received comments from trolls pointing out how "different" she and her boyfriend appear as a couple.

Frustrated by the remarks, she decided to set the record straight, emphasising that she believes "big girls are deserving of love" just like anyone else.

Michelle explained that in all her relationships, she has always been drawn to "fitter guys" because that's her preference.

Likewise, the men she has dated have typically been attracted to "bigger girls."

Speaking to camera, she says: “Being a big girl is not just a fetish, it is also just a preference, as some people like blonde hair, or a certain character.

"I think my character is my biggest asset, don't get me wrong.

“But my looks also played a part in how we got to know each other because we were both attracted to each other.

"This exists in the real world.

“There's a lot of men that are attracted to big girls and there's a lot of women that are big girls that are attracted to fitter guys.

"There is nothing wrong with that. People come in all shapes of form and sizes.”

Michelle, who is Swiss, explained that her relationship with her boyfriend, who is Italian, isn’t “just for the green card.”

I'm 28 & my wife-to-be's 53 so people think she's my nan - yes, I'm the same age as her daughter but it's a happy family

Hitting back at trolls who say that her boyfriend is with her for a visa in the UK, Michelle explained that they are “both foreigners” and her boyfriend was the one that “reminded” her to sign up for staying in the UK.

She adds: “Actually, he's the one that secured the visa for me because he wanted me to stay in the country so he could get to know me, which obviously led to this little love bubble.

“So for the big girls that think that they're not deserving of someone attractive and they need to settle down, get that out of your head.

“I mean, for any girl that feels like they need to settle down because of their looks, get this out of your head because the ugly ones and the mean ones and the ones that you settle for, they can do you over just as much as the pretty ones.

“So why would you settle? Why would you settle?”

Her video, shared on the account gained lots of attention with many people rushing to the comments section to share their thoughts.

One wrote: “Real love is not about the body, or age or anything else… It's about two people loving each other’s personalities and enjoying being together.

“You’re a very lucky girl to find real love!”

A second added: “I think you’re the hottest couple ever.”
