Not only are the siblings’ parents in the dark about the relationship, but the woman claimed that barely anyone else actually knows.

She claimed that the siblings are “not very open at all” about it and “very few” people are aware, as she continued: “I've told a couple of close friends, he's told exactly one person. At least that's what he tells me.

The Law on Incest in the UK

INCEST refers to sexual activity between close family members, such as siblings, parents and children, or grandparents and grandchildren.

  • Criminal Offence: Engaging in sexual activity with a close family member is illegal.
  • Close Family Members: Includes siblings (full or half), parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren.
  • Penalties: Those found guilty of incest can face significant legal consequences, including imprisonment.
  • Protection and Welfare: The law aims to protect individuals and maintain the integrity of family relationships.
  • Consent Irrelevant: Even if both parties consent, it is still considered a criminal offence.

“It's hard to find people to trust with the information, and they tend to react pretty violently when they find out. On a whole it's easier not to be open about it.

“I rarely get a chance to talk about these things, so it's good to get them off my chest.”

When questioned about the ‘type of sex’ the siblings had, the woman got candid: “In retrospect it was fairly basic. We were both young and inexperienced.”

She also confirmed that things started out “innocently”, as she acknowledged: “The first few years were essentially foreplay.”

Not only this, but when asked what made the siblings stop their incestual relationship, the social media user claimed: “We simply grew apart, and just lost that part of our relationship over time.

“There was no sudden drama.”
