LOVELY DAY

My baby’s unique name means shopping around Valentine’s is a nightmare – her pram’s always loaded with anything I see

She found everything from bath mats to cooling teethers

A MUM who gave her baby daughter a very unique name has admitted taking her shopping around Valentine's Day is a complete nightmare.

She took to TikTok to share her haul, as she said she just can't resist buying things themed to her little girl's moniker.

"My daughter's name is Love, which makes shopping anywhere this time of year extremely damaging to our bank account because anything that has hearts or is pink or says Love is coming home with us!" she laughed.

She then took her daughter to her nearest Target store to see what romantic items they had in store.

"The good thing is I'm not getting a shopping cart," she said.

"I'm only using the space we have under the stroller, so that should keep my shopping at a limit!"

She began with an 'I (heart) you' vase, as well as an adorable heart-shaped rug, some red and pink water bottle charms adorned with hearts, and some mugs with heart-shaped handles.

The mum then picked up some paint your own wooden hearts for her oldest daughter to do, before moving onto the clothing section.

Once there, she was immediately excited by what she found - a fluffy pair of cream PJs with red hearts on them.

"Oh my goodness. Lovey, we have to have this! You're coming home with me!" she said.

"Names that are traditionally heard as nicknames, such as Freddie or Theo, are making a comeback, signalling a move away from formality.

"Additionally, we will see a rise of nature-inspired names, such as River, Lily, and Ivy. And a trend in recent years that we also expect to continue, is the rise of classical names, for example, Margot, Dorothy, August."

"My daughter is Genabee so anything Bee comes with me!" a third laughed.
