A COUPLE have hit back at cruel trolls who say that their looks don't match up.
Sam and Cam have been together for ten years since they met in middle school and struck up a conversation about Lord of the Rings.
The pair are still going strong but the teenage sweethearts have been ridiculed online.
Speaking to , Cam said: "The fact that she was even talking to me blew my mind, people hit on my girlfriend in front of me."
He also said that most of the hate online is targeted towards him with trolls commenting 'How could she be with him,' 'Blink twice if you need help,' and 'She's a gold-digger.'
The self-confessed nerds built a solid friendship and officially started dating in 2015.

While Sam, 5"8, loves to get dressed up, Cma prefers a more casual look in hoodies, and when Sam has her heels on she towers over 5"4 Cam.
The pair went viral on TikTok when someone posted a video of them out on a date.
A content creator approached Sam and asked for her number while Cam stood beside her.
Sam refused politely and explained Cam was her boyfriend - the content creator apologised saying he thought Cam was her brother.

The video of the exchange was uploaded and received millions of views, the pair said initially they felt uncomfortable with the exposure.
Sam said: "That video that got posted without our permission was one of the most irritating ones we've experienced so far because it was just somebody who interrupted us being in love to make fun of us being in love and for monetary gain."
Despite many assuming Sam is with Cam for money, she is often the provider as Cam has struggled to hold down a job.
The couple have spoken out against the haters saying they're both in it for the long haul.
The clip went viral on YouTube and people were quick to share their thoughts.
One person wrote: "Beautiful couple, haters are jealous."
