A MUM-OF-SEVEN on benefits said she 'only wants money' after people offered to help her out with essentials.

The woman, only known as Laura, shared a video on TikTok in a desperate attempt to boost her bank balance.

, the dark-haired beauty, who claims to receive benefits, asked fellow social media users if there was anyone whom she could ''borrow'' some cash from.

Promising to ''pay back'', Laura revealed she wasn't after a huge sum: ''Just a fiver or a tenner.''

''I'll give it to you back when I've got it. I am claiming benefits at the minute - UC, DLA [Disability Living Allowance] for all seven of my kids.

''But money's just going nowhere, cost-of-living has gone up now and I am struggling,'' Laura bravely shared with her 17k followers on the platform.

The mum-of-seven, who urged social media users to not ''judge'' her, claimed that there was ''no food in the fridge, no nappies, no baby milk'' and her children were in a need of ''new shoes''.

''I know it's far-fetched and a lot to ask for but I really would appreciate any help.''

Begging TikTok users for their money online, Laura, who posts under the username @, also wondered if there were any more benefits she's not aware of but could be entitled to.

''You just have to do what you have to do to survive - and I'm just trying to survive here in this world, mad world.''

Despite allegedly struggling to keep the fridge full to feed her family, Laura admitted that she can still afford to fork out for beauty treatments, including and lip filler.

The parent, who said she doesn't know what ''work'' means, added she wouldn’t ask if she ''wasn’t desperate''.

Unfortunately for Laura, who was seen dancing when her ''Christmas bonus from DWP [Department for Work and Pension] landed'', the video was met with fury from social media users.

One said: ''Get a job like the rest of us. How much did your lips cost to get done?''

Another advised: ''Try going job centre.''

Am I entitled to Universal Credit?

According to the if you're on a low income or need help with your living costs, then you could be entitled to Universal Credit.

To claim, you must live in the UK, be aged 18 or over (with some exceptions if you're 15 to 17), be under State Pension age, and have £16,000 or less in money, savings and investments.

Other circumstances are if you are out of work, or unable to work, for example because of a health condition.

''Don't give her. Tell to go food bank or nothing,'' someone else urged others.

''You got more money than most of us that work all them benefits wow joker,'' a fourth criticised Laura.

Although there were a few people in the comments offering the mum-of-seven a helping hand by taking her shopping and buying her the stuff she needs, Laura very quickly denied the polite offers.

Explaining why she didn't consider applying for a job to boost her family's wallet, Laura previously said she had ''better things to do''.
