At some point in our life, many will change their style and aesthetic - whether it's leaving , or .
But although we have seen plenty of glow-ups shared online, it will be pretty challenging to find one more jaw-dropping than 21-year-old Maya Beresford's insane makeover.
Before embarking on her transformation journey, the blonde stunner was sporting piles of cakey make-up, which included orange foundation, heavy contour for that snatched effect, as well as mega eyelash extensions.
The gorgeous beauty, who goes by @, explained that at the time, she thought that the more glammed up she was, the more beautiful she will look.
Sharing a snap of herself all dolled up in 2023, Maya wrote: ''Me a year ago with loads of make-up on, thinking the more make-up, the prettier.''

Biggest skincare trends for 2025
Head of Clinic, Kimberley Medd, shared the five skincare trends predicted to take off in 2025.
1. Exosomes
Exosomes are the buzzword for 2025, taking advanced skin regeneration to new heights. These micro-messengers signal skin cells to repair damage, boost collagen, and accelerate recovery. Whether in topical formulations or clinic-based treatments, they’re a gamechanger for targeting ageing and compromised skin barriers.
2. Streamlined Skincare
The age of 12-step routines is fading as consumers shift to more intentional, multi-functional products. Streamlining skincare not only saves time but also reduces the risk of overloading your skin. In 2025, we’ll see a rise in hybrid products like CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF50 which combine active ingredients like ceramides with a broad-spectrum SPF50 for simplified, effective results.
3. Vegan Collagen
Plant-based collagen will dominate the skincare world in 2025, providing a sustainable, ethical alternative to traditional animal-derived collagen. Expect vegan collagen in everything from moisturisers to serums, designed to enhance elasticity and hydration whist catering to a more eco-conscious audience.
4. The Rise Of AI
AI is revolutionising the beauty landscape, making it possible for consumers to get truly personalised skincare solutions. In 2025, we predict a dramatic shift towards AI-powered tools that help people understand their skin on a deeper level.
5. Hair Loss Solutions -
Hair loss is an issue that affects more men than we often realise, and it’s no longer just something we’re talking about behind closed doors. In 2025, expect to see a continued rise in demand for treatments that not only tackle hair loss but also nurture overall scalp health.
Four ways to give yourself a glow-down
Thick fluffy lashes are out, so is the fake tan and long nails...here's how to have the ultimate glow-down in four steps...
The term "glow-down" refers to a woman removing what once was the most popular beauty choices, for a more natural look.
Eyelash extensions - Thick, bold "Russian lashes" used to be all the rage, but nowadays, girls are opt for subtle, individual eyelash extensions to lengthen what they already have.
Nails - Gone are the long, plastic talons, more women are favouring BIAB or gel manis.

Hair colour - Remember when everyone wanted icy white hair? Not anymore! Millions of women are trying to go back to their roots (literally), and have soft blondes, and warm gold tones added to their hair, in a bid to achieve the "old money blonde" look.
Makeup - Sculpting your face shape through the art of contouring is no more. Ladies are adding freckles and sweeping blush across cheekbones instead.
