People in the comments had some hilarious responses to Faheem's video

A MAN who queued and waited for three hours to watch London's New Year's Eve fireworks has deemed the experience a "waste of time".

Faheem explained that he and a friend had been hoping for a good vantage point to see in 2025 with the world-famous fireworks display without having to stump up for a ticket.

So they joined hundreds of other people standing on Southwark bridge, as they counted down to midnight.

But as soon as the highly-anticipated display began, Faheem and the rest of the people waiting on the bridge realised their mistake.

As he filmed the fireworks going off in the distance - with flashes of light and colour just about seen behind the buildings - other members of the crowd could be heard grumbling.

"Oh my God!" one declared as the fireworks began and they realised their mistake.

"What a waste of time," another sighed.

A third admitted they'd been waiting for "four hours" for the fireworks to begin.

"There were signs on the bridge for a week, literally telling you that you won't be able to see the fireworks from there and that it's not a vantage point," one wrote.

"Were you all expecting those buildings to just move?" another questioned.

As a third yelled: "IF YOU'RE A LONDONER YOU KNOW NOT TO GO ON THAT BRIDGE..."

"But why would you think you’d see round a corner?" someone else asked.

"I don't live in London and even I know not to stand on that bridge," another wrote.

"Rule of thumb, if you can't see the London Eye, you ain't seeing nothing."

While someone else commented: "True Londoners know not to go.

"It's better on TV with the music on a comfy sofa in a warm house hahaha."

"Why in the helllllllllll were you on Southwark bridge?" another raged.

"It was lovely. We've been there few times and getting out of there were terrible - no more."
