People are just jealous of Lily Phillips and the money she’s making – I back her, and could do a better job
A SCOTS adult star has defended under fire OnlyFans model Lily Phillips - and insisted she could do an even better job if given the chance.
Hayley Halcrow, 30, doesn’t think it’s fair that her porn star counterpart, 23, has faced criticism for sleeping with 100 men in one day.
The Edinburgh pin-up doesn’t see a problem with the X-rated performer’s next challenge of bedding 1,000 men in one day and thinks haters should get a grip.
She said: “It’s not nice to judge anyone and she shouldn’t care what anyone thinks about her.
“It’s probably just been prudes against her but people need to get more open minded because the sex industry is a massive thing and it sells.
“People are probably jealous and obviously it’s a publicity stunt which I’m fully for.”
Phillips has allegedly made over £2million from her content and even has an application process for her next event.
Upwards of 5,000 blokes want to be a part of her 1,000 men challenge and she’s even begged women to send their husbands and boyfriends.
The aftermath of her liaisons with 100 men was captured by filmmaker Joshua Pieters, who followed her throughout the day.
Footage of her emotional response went viral on social media, sparking concern among viewers about her mental health.
But Hayley thinks people should give the embattled model more credit.
She added: “Unless people are in this industry, they won’t have the mentality for it.
“We know what we’re doing because it’s our industry.
“I don’t think any critics would ever change their mind, they have a bad perception of the industry and that won’t change.
“There’s a lot of good girls in the industry who know what they’re doing - but I still reckon I could do a better job."
What is OnlyFans?
OnlyFans is a subscription content service based in London.
As of 2023, it is thought to have more than 220million registered users and over three million content creators.
Sex workers charge monthly fees for access to pictures, videos and more.
While popular for porn, the site isn't exclusively designed with that in mind - anyone who wants to build up a fan base and charge them for it can set one up.
Celebs like Katie Price and Kerry Katona are popular personalities on the platform.
"Whether you’re uploading tutorials, tips, behind-the-scenes footage or just endless selfies, a lot of your followers would be willing to pay for them," the company states.
For every subscription that's sold to a viewer, performers get 80 per cent of the cash while OnlyFans gets the rest.
It isn’t limited to adult content, as it has become popular with physical fitness experts and musicians
