I work at a legal sex ranch, I’ve taken over 38 V-cards from ‘late in life holders’, the most common job surprised me
HITTING the dusty desert roads of Nevada, the last thing you'd expect to find is a legal brothel, yet that's exactly where Sheri's Ranch is located.
When you think of a brothel, you assume it'll be filled with small seedy rooms where men come and go quickly and line up outside doors, but Sheri's boasts luxe-themed rooms, a sports bar, a pool and even tennis courts.
While Sheri's might lie in the middle of nowhere, co-owners Chuck Lee, a former homicide detective and David Frank, a real estate agent, have spent thousands on signage to get women and men into their luxury sex hotel.
Nevada is currently the only state in the US with licensed brothels - which is a good thing for sex workers.
The World Health Organisation has long called for sex work to be decriminalised, and licensed brothels offer some security and safety for those working there.
Along with having a safe place to work, sex workers are provided with weekly STD kits to prevent the risk of disease and infection.

Inside the sex palace hosts a variety of rooms to meet customers' needs.
Playrooms are available for customers to act out their wildest fantasies - from the girlfriend experience to cuddle on the sofa, to an office room to play out your sexy secretary dreams.
Also on offer is the Nuru massage room for some slippery fun as well as their BDSM dungeon to tie paying customers up or stuff them in a cage,
In recent years, Sheri's Ranch has also added a sex video room where customers can direct and star in their own porn film with their chosen lady.

The room is equipped with four cameras, all shooting from different angles – including a top-down ceiling camera.
A computer linked up to the system randomly chooses which camera angles to use.
Once the deed is done, the computer will automatically edit a video and store it on an SD card the punter can take home.

The redhead who often jokes she is a 'budget Miley Cyrus' shares what it's really like working at the brothel.
She says: "We are a legal establishment where consenting adults over the age of 21 can exchange money for services such as ditching your V-card."
Jupiter has worked at the Ranch for more than two years and says she has often helped men have sex for the first time.
In fact, she's helped 38 men at Sheri's Ranch alone which she says has been 'really fun.'
Are brothel's legal in the UK?

However, she did reveal that there was one common denominator in those who have lost their virginity later in life.
She explains: "A few things that I've noticed about late in life V-card holders that I never would have guessed before I started working here, you know, you have your standard socially awkward folks, but actually, I see a ton of doctors.
"Medical school needs to be maybe just a little bit less intense,"

Jupiter expected to become a master of many things living on the ranch, but she wasn't planning on becoming a master of knitting.
"I expected to gain mastery of many things when I started at the Ranch; I did not expect knitting to be one of them," she jokes.
While Jupiter said working at the Ranch can be super fun, she said it's impossible not to get bored when there are no customers.
Working next to Las Vegas also poses it's own problems as there isn't much else to do in the desert other than gamble and drink.
"One thing that they never really tell you about running away and succumbing to the evils of jazz and liquor is that you have to have hobbies," she explains.
