Who is influencer and chef Sam Holland?

SAM Holland is an influencer and chef who has become a social media sensation.

The influencer has seen several of his recipes go viral and has since become one of the UK’s favourite online chefs. 

Cooking for the family

Sam became interested in cooking and baking as a child. 

He launched his own amateur business with his brother, which was named the Twin Bakers and saw the pair selling soda bread to their neighbours. 

Although the pair stopped selling their baked goods when they got older, Sam still credits his brother for kickstarting his career. 

However, his real hero is his Granny Tess whom he has described as a “home-cook extraordinaire”.

Sam then went on to train at prestigious establishments including The Gleneagles Hotel and a Michelin-star restaurant. 

Cooking expert

Sam’s website includes some of his fans’ favourite recipes. 

He includes quick-and-easy recipes, such as chicken caesar salads and thai style mussels, but also teaches you how to make food for special occasions. 

For example, he has a recipe for an apple tarte tatin which is perfect for a date night. 

The chef has also written a cooking book entitled Moving Out, which contains recipes perfect for young people who are preparing to leave home. 

Sam’s book even includes a chapter which might be particularly useful for young people heading to university, namely Hangover Helpers. 

Social media stardom

Sam has amassed a huge online following. 

The chef has over 770,000 followers on Instagram where he shares videos about food, as well as his love of rugby.
