Beauty fans race to Aldi to stock up on a La Mer dupe – it’s £368 cheaper than the posh serum with ‘spot on’ ingredients

SHOPPERS are legging it to get to their nearest Aldi store, desperate to stock up on the newest beauty dupe.

So if the cost of living crisis has made your purse feel tighter than ever before, and you can’t afford to splash the cash on luxury skincare buys, fear not, Aldi has got you covered.

The much-loved chain has just released a range of new middle aisle buys - and it’s a La Mer dupe that’s left shoppers beaming.

Beauty enthusiast Chloe Parry, who is from the UK, was overjoyed when she spotted the cheap product in her local store.

Thrilled with her find, Chloe took to social media to alert others, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting on , a private Facebook group with 2.6 million members, the Aldi shopper shared a snap of her purchase - the .

Clearly very pleased with the Lacura Concentrate Serum, Chloe beamed: “La Mer dupe in Aldi today.

“I’ve compared the ingredients and they seem spot on.”

The cheap dermatologically tested serum is enriched with a blend of Algae Extracts, Macadamia and Sesame Seed Oils.

The velvety, gel serum helps to soothe the complexion and replenish the skin's moisture barrier.

It is a dupe for the , a pricey product loved by celebs including Jennifer Lopez, Demi Moore and Kim Kardashian. 

But unlike the luxurious serum, the Aldi buy, which comes in a similar green bottle, is much more affordable.

A 30ml bottle of the La Mer product will set you back a jaw-dropping £375 - yes, you heard that correctly - an amount many of us could simply not justify (or afford).

But to this, Chloe later wrote: “Not all ingredients may be identical but if it’s a cheaper price then wooo!

“Not everyone has the same skin type, or same reactions! I’ve religiously bought Aldi skincare dupes and never had an issue and always had a positive experience with them!

“I’d rather try a somewhat dupe than pay £300+ on something that may have been a complete waste of money for my skin.”
