Shoppers left divided by new £8 Polar Express Xmas pjs from Home Bargains – many say they look like ‘prison uniforms’
A SHOPPER has left people divided after spying some £8 Polar Express-themed Christmas pyjamas for kids.
The bargain hunter spotted the affordable sleepwear in Home Bargains and said they looked ideal for the festive period.
However, the red pjs have divided shoppers online, with many likening them to “prison uniforms.”
Taking to the Facebook group , they wrote: “Anyone looking for kids Christmas pyjamas.
“Home bargains Wimbledon £8.”
The long-sleeve, trouser sets are “velvet feel” and feature a Polar Express “embroidered emblem” on the front.

Not only do they have options available for kids, but there are also matching sets for adults too, meaning the whole family could match this year.
Despite the pjs looking perfect for people who are fans of the 2004 family Christmas film, they have split opinion online.
One person wrote: “They look like prison uniforms lol.”
Another added: “thought the same.”

Meanwhile, one shopper had another gripe with the pjs, writing: “Hope you have a good hoover, they leave red fluff everywhere! The blue ones are fine but the red ones are a pain!”
However, the post had racked up and many people seemed keen to snap them up for their families.
One person wrote: “these are cute.”
Another added: “these are nice.”
Primark offering
If these don’t float your boat, perhaps you should go to Primark.
The retailer’s much-loved family pyjama sets (also known as Fam Jams) are back another yuletide season after selling out in DAYS last year.
This year’s designs include The Simpsons, The Grinch and classic Christmas prints.
“This Simpsons pyjama set brings a playful touch to Christmas morning,” Primark bosses said.
“In a cheerful red, it features Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie dressed in festive outfits, alongside Christmas trees and snowflakes.

Taking over large sections of the stores it has everything from trend led satin styles, to fluffy Disney PJ's and everything in between.
Plus it means you can head to bed looking and feeling good without having to break the bank.
It's also a great place to bag yourself a pyjama dupe.
Last year Primark had a great version of the Skims pyjamas and its latest dupe is that from Victoria's Secret.
