From Molly Mae to Maya Jama – why stars are stripping off for no face selfie trend & secret meaning behind sultry pose
STARS like Molly-Mae Hague and Maya Jama are no strangers to stripping down to their bikinis for sexy Instagram snaps.
However, recently, many celebs have taken on a new trend - the faceless bikini pic.
If you scroll through Instagram it likely won't take you long to find a picture of your favourite celebrity showing off their figure in a bikini, whilst covering their face with their phone.
During a recent trip to Dubai with daughter Bambi, one, Molly-Mae, 25 tried out the sultry pose in the window of her holiday accommodation.
The former Love Island star looked stunning in a simple brown bikini, with her hair slicked back in her signature bun, but with her face hidden from view by her large black phone, it's difficult to tell who is in the picture.
Maya Jama is also a fan of the trend, and set pulses racing back in October, when she posted a bikini snap whilst on holiday with Emily in Paris star Lucien Laviscount.

In the gorgeous photograph the Love Island host posed in a skimpy grey bikini, her hair tied adorably in plaits, as she hid her face from view with her camera.
Jess Gale, Georgia Steel and Dani Imbert are also among those who have been known to take sultry swimwear snaps whilst hiding their faces.
So what does this pose mean?
Body language expert Judi James spoke to Fabulous about the hidden meaning behind the no-face snaps.
Judi revealed that by hiding their faces in these snaps, celebs are able to admire their own bodies.
She revealed: "By shielding their faces from view they disassociate from their bodies, meaning they can take lingeringly appreciative photos or even 'reward' pics that present their bikini-clad curves, with themselves in the role of photographer rather than model.
For those with a straight body type, the underwear brand suggests a ruched swimwear option to create shape, and emphasise your legs.
For hourglass curves, the brand suggests a strappy swimwear style, or triangle bikini.
For apple body shapes an underwired bikini is best to work with your natural volume and a crinkle high waist bikini brief.
For round body shapes supportive cups are a must and a high-cut leg will add poise to your swimwear body pose.
"It adds the emotion and the narrative to the pose, and they clearly think their bodies deserve to be showcased without that added distraction.
"It suggests they are putting their bodies up on the highest pedestal to be generally admired.

"And for famous names like Maya Jama and Molly-Mae it announces that even if they were not well-known faces and judged on their bodies alone, they would be judged A-list perfect.
"It's an admiration of perfection and a reward to themselves of all the work they've put in to achieve that."
