Savvy mum Jade, who posts under , uploaded a video showing how she had decorated the space into a fun area for her children.

She added a mini kitchen, teddies and books to keep her kids occupied.

And to make it look pretty, she added streamers to the door, glow-in-the-dark stars on the walls and ceiling and a colourful playmat on the floor.

Jade wrote: “POV you converted the cupboard under the stairs into a little playroom for your kids so they have their own space to trash.”
