Nathan, who made his name with his gaming videos and hilarious online pranks, shared his honest opinions on the prefab house with his 18 million YouTube subscribers.

“I was kind of worried buying this thing because it had zero reviews,” said the YouTuber from Texas - who has a net worth of almost $30 million.

He explained that the purchase was an experiment to find out if it's possible to buy everything for a home from Amazon, including the house itself.

He described the house as being “like a puzzle” as his friends joined him in the process of unfolding it.

“They even taped the key to the house to the door handle,” Nathan said.

The group were able to quickly set up the house and began to open boxes of household items they had also ordered from Amazon.

Furniture, food, and toilet paper were among the living essentials that had been delivered, but they noticed a huge problem when it was time to plug in their appliances.

“I’m trying to find somewhere to plug in the fridge but there are no electrical outlets,” Nathan said.

“How are we supposed to plug stuff in, how are we supposed to cook food?” his friend replied.

Nathan rushed to check the product listing on Amazon and was shocked that it stated electricity needs to be installed on purchase.

“It comes with a toilet but it doesn’t come with a plug,” he raged.

However, the gang were able to resolve the issue by ordering a generator from, you've guessed it, Amazon

A tour of the home showed it was spacious enough to fit an 80-inch TV in the bedroom, had a full shower and toilet as well as a kitchen.

Nathan and his pals were delighted with the results and gathered to play a game in the dining area.

However, failing to set up the sewage system before they got comfortable meant waste from the toilet was flushed into the garden through a pipe at the back of the house.

Tiny Homes FAQs

The tiny house movement began in the USA before gaining popularity in the UK.

What is a tiny home?

Tiny houses are small, fully-equipped living spaces designed to lead a more sustainable, off-grid lifestyle. Although they vary in size and shape, tiny homes tend to be between 15 and 50 square metres in capacity, made of sustainable materials and are easier — and cheaper — to maintain than traditional brick homes.

Are tiny homes legal in the UK?

As long as the tiny house doesn't exceed 19.8m x 6.7m in size, it is defined as a caravan in UK law. Therefore, tiny houses are classed as legal additional living space.

Can you get a mortgage for a tiny home?

The small size and relatively low cost of tiny houses means they’re not generally considered eligible for a mortgage. However, there are plenty of options to take out a loan to fund your dreams of the perfect, moveable home.

Millions of people watched the video and wrote in the comment section that they were impressed by the budget-friendly home.

“I actually like this house. Looks really nice and spacious,” one person wrote.

“I wish I could afford one. This is nicer than what we live in now,” another commented.

“You literally can buy everything off Amazon,” a third chimed in.

“When I first saw the house I was like no way would anyone be able to really live in it full time but once it was revealed that it opens up even more I was really surprised. This is cool,” another added.
