But don't worry, it's still achievable, as one new mum recently discovered.
The DIY enthusiast, known as on TikTok, set herself a challenge to revamp her baby boy’s nursery on a budget.

She shared a video on her social media page showing how she transformed the room with affordable buys from B&M.
She managed to get her hands on some DIY essentials, making the room look like she spent a fortune without actually doing so.
The mum bought Dulux Paint on offer for £15, Frog Tape for £4.99, dust sheets for £5.49, a wicker basket for £10, and a cushion for £14.
Using these tools, she painted her son’s room blue and decorated it with the cushion and wicker basket.

She applied the Frog Tape to the walls to ensure straight lines while painting, and laid down the dust sheets to protect the carpet from any paint spills.
In the end, she created a beautiful nursery without breaking the bank, proving that with a bit of creativity and resourcefulness, you can design a lovely space for your little one.
Many people ‘loved’ her video as they shared it and rushed to the comments section to give their thoughts.
