A WOMAN has revealed that she gave her plain hallway a fresh new look whilst on a budget.

One DIY enthusiast has proved that you don’t need to spend a fortune to turn your house from drab to fab.
Thrilled with her hallway transformation, Holly Citrone took to social media to share a before and after look at the space, leaving many open-mouthed.
Posting on , a private Facebook group with 2.2 million members, the savvy mum, who is from the UK, explained that she used cheap buys from B&Q to add style and glamour to her space.
She wrote: “Hallway panelling. We’re so pleased with this. This now matches our stairs.”

Holly explained that she stocked up on wood from B&Q for her mega makeover.
She revealed that the Astragal thicker dado rail was £7.67 for 240cm, whilst the smaller inside Astragal rail was £5.67 for 240cm.
Holly explained: “We used four of the bigger rails and we think eight of the smaller ones so total spend was £77.05.
“We already had the paint, which is Dulux Timeless and Egyptian Cotton.”

Thanks to the cheap dado rails from B&Q and paint they already had, Holly was able to give her once very plain hallway a breathtaking fresh look.
