People are stunned by my garden fence set-up – it’s true it would be a nightmare with certain neighbours
WHILE most people value their privacy, one couple shared the unique set-up they shared with their neighbours.
Rather than build a privacy fence between their gardens, the families settled on an invisible boundary.
In her viral , TikTok user Laura Reynolds () showed her followers the unusual arrangement she and her partner have with the people living next door.
She revealed that there is no fence between her garden and her neighbour's.
The set-up made it look like the two houses shared one massive garden but she pointed out the almost unnoticeable boundary line between the two.
While their neighbour's grass is green and healthy, their garden is more yellow and sparse.

Laura explained that when they purchased their house there were no fences on either side of their garden.
"We just had the original fence posts and then ropes separating the gardens," she said.
She and her partner had since opted to put up a fence on one side of their garden.
However, they held off on building one on the other end because they liked the people next door so much.

Recently, their neighbours had begun adding a privacy fence, which Laura pointed out to her audience.
She explained that the project was necessary for their garden renovations to be finished.
She shared her disappointment that the fence meant her neighbour's dog Teddy would no loner be able to visit their door.
Laua described the pet coming over to say hello as her favourite part of the day.
She added that the set-up likely would not have worked for many people.
"Luckily for us, we get on with our neighborus so well, I think we’ll actually be sad when they put a fence up," she concluded.
TikTok users shared their thoughts on the arrangement in the comments section.
