MONEY-SAVVY shoppers have rushed to Home Bargains to buy candles and diffusers that create a festive atmosphere.

One customer raved that they had been “waiting all year” for the budget-friendly retailer’s most coveted scent.

Almost 2 million people follow on Facebook intending to be the first to spot their latest deals.

They sparked a frenzy when they shared a selection of must-have items ahead of Christmas.

Photos showed scented candles and diffusers including Snowflake Wishes, Evergreen Spruce, Gingerbread, and Crushed Candy Cane.

The retailer also teased their advent calendar with 24 burner scents.

“I'll take them all please,” they wrote, captioning the post.

“We can't decide which of our Candy Cane Lane candles is our favourite.”

Thousands of people liked the post and took to the comment section sharing their excitement.

One scent was a clear favourite and countless Home Bargains fans said they planned to stock up on it.

“Gingerbread is my favourite. I’m totally obsessed. Candles and diffusers are amazing,” one person wrote.

“I've been waiting all year for the gingerbread one it's lovely, I'm going to stock up this year!” another commented.

According to the retailer, it has a “woody scent” that evokes sitting by an open fire in a log cabin in the forest. 

The candle is described as having a cool mint and sweet vanilla fragrance that feels cosy.

Shoppers said the candles would be ideal for gifting throughout the festive season.
