Shoppers rush to buy Morrisons suitcases as supermarket slashes price to just £8 – and cry they ‘need’ them

THE winter months are fast approaching and if you are dreaming of jetting away on a sunny holiday, you may wish to pop to Morrisons.
Shoppers have spotted that the supermarket has slashed the price of suitcases to as little as £8.
One bargain hunter took a photo of the display in her local store, and wrote: “Suitcases in Morrisons from £8.
“I found this online about the sizes but I’m not sure if it’s accurate.”
She then pointed out how she’d found that cases come in the sizes: Extra Small (20x30x47cm), Small (22x34x58cm), Medium (26.5x41x67cm) and Large (30.5x48x77cm).
While the Extra Small cases are just £8, the Small are £18, the Medium are £25, and the Large are £30.
In her snap, the shopper showed how the cases also come in a range of bright colours.
If you are looking for some new luggage for a trip away, you can choose from pink, green, white, navy blue and red bags.
Her post seems to have struck a chord with shoppers, as it has racked up over 500 likes on the Facebook group
Many people seemed keen to snap them up for their next trip.
One person wrote: “need some of these for our holiday soon.”
A second added: “need a suitcase.”
A third commented: “might be worth me grabbing.”
And one shopper said: “better get myself down there.”
With Christmas around the corner, it may be worth picking one up for when you pop home to visit family.

Morrisons Christmas advert
This comes as Morrisons has unveiled its Christmas advert and it features a famous movie soundtrack sung by kitchen oven gloves.
The common household item comes to life in this festive clip, singing the showtune “Give a Little Love” from Bugsy Malone.
Morrisons’s 60-second advert will air for the first time on television this evening on ITV during Coronation Street.
It begins with a Morrisons delivery van arriving at a home and then panning to a lone oven glove who suddenly springs life and belts into song.
As the ad progresses, viewers are taken through a series of kitchens to the backdrop of the iconic song, where more and more oven gloves appear.
The gloves, which are voiced by Morrisons workers, are singing to encourage families as they prepare their Christmas dinner.
Viewers can expect to see a number of dining tables filled with Morrisons food, including its classic turkey, salmon and a range of desserts.
Party food from its premium The Best range also makes an appearance, which is available to buy in stores now.
The ad concludes as a family sits down for their meal joined by a host of singing oven gloves.
