I paid £35 for a 6ft Christmas tree from Home Bargains – I was so proud but trolls told me I’d ruined Christmas
A MOTHER hoped to impress other homeowners with her budget-friendly Christmas decorations.
However, her post was flooded with trolls quick to accuse her of ruining the annual holiday.
She had decorated a huge bought for £35 with red and white baubles, candy canes, and faux gifts.
“My Tree Is Up 53 days to go hoho,” she wrote, captioning the post.

She shared a tag for her TikTok account as she teased more details for the festive decorations.
Hundreds of people liked the post and praised the mum’s creativity in the comment section.
However, others argued it was too soon to put up Christmas decorations and that she was spoiling the celebrations.
“Obviously, you don't know the true meaning of Xmas. l used to put mine up on Xmas Eve, and their faces were full of joy in the morning. Each was their own,” one person wrote.
“And this is why the magic of Christmas has gone,” another said.
“Totally agree, it's ridiculous putting them up 2 months before Christmas, not to mention the dust on it,” a third chimed in.
“Sorry but it's ridiculously early to put up a Christmas tree, whatever happened to the magic of Christmas, if you have children they must get fed up waiting for Santa to come, I imagine after 2 months it must be covered in dust,” another added.
The mum hit back that she wanted to have a “magical” Christmas for her autistic son after a tough year.
Other parents defended her from the trolls saying that everyone has their own traditions.
Among the commenters was one person who said their Christmas tree has been up since last December.
“Christmas comes and goes so fast. It’s nice to put your tree up early, especially with dark nights, as it brightens the days,” one person said.
Is it too early for Christmas?

A third response to the post shared a photo of their Christmas tree to reassure the mum that she wasn’t the only person getting into the festive spirit weeks in advance.
