A WOMAN who has worked her rank up to being a manager at just 18, with no GCSEs has revealed that men aren't interested in her because of her "smelly" job.

Franky Taylor, from Romford began working at a local business aged 16, after failing to pass her GCSEs.

Impressively, she worked her way up the ranks to become a manager at the fish and chip shop, and began to vlog her journey on TikTok.

Franky's videos are loved by an impressive 140,000 people, who resonate with her realistic look at her day to day life.

However, the said that some people look down on her because of her chosen profession.

Speaking to the , she said: "People do look down on me for working in a fish and chip shop.

"When I say I have no GCSEs and work in a fish and chip shop that's what gets people – they really do look down."

Franky added that when she tells boys about her job they aren't impressed and say "we're builders and work harder."

However, the fish and chip shop manager said that she works extremely hard, starting her shifts at 9am, and spending three hours preparing for the shop to open at 12.

She added that she loves her job, even though she always comes home smelling like the shop after her shifts.

"It's a greasy environment with greasy food, you smell after you finish, you stink the like shop - you do - and it's not nice after", she said.

Franky struggled with school after being targeted by bullies and decided to sacrifice her education, when her metal health got too bad to continue.

However, she was still determined to be productive so applied for a job in the chippy for something to do.

The hard graft she has put in to work up the ranks of the chip shop has been an inspiration to the thousands of followers she has on social media.

She said: "I've come with nothing, I have no GCSEs and was so bad with maths and English.

"Even with counting the tills, I struggled so much at first as I couldn't count.

"But now, I can count so well just from counting the tills."

Franky said that people think that all she does is fry food all day, but added that there is so much more that goes into her job.

"There's so much more to it than people think."
