PEOPLE have been left stunned after realising that they've been pronouncing the name of fast-fashion brand Shein wrong.
The Chinese brand is the biggest fashion retailer in the world and adds thousands of new items to its site every week, but many people are unsure of the correct way to pronounce it.
Many call the brand "sheen" but one TikToker, , revealed that this is not in fact the case.
Kinly explained that the brand is actually pronounced She-In, as it was originally called SheInside.

"Look, see the capital I", she said, pointing at a webpage that confirmed that the brand was called SheInside until 2015.
On the webpage, the brand name is spelt SheIn, with a capital I, to show how the brand is supposed to be pronounced.
"In is pronounced 'in' not 'een'", Kinley said.
However, it is worth noting that on the brand's website, the name is generally spelt in all caps, making the pronunciation less obvious.
