HOME Bargains is the first store to dupe a sell-out skincare range.

The budget store is selling copycat cleansers, moisturisers and serums of a viral brand that’s notoriously hard to get hold of.

Home Bargains’ Aura range is a dupe for Byoma - the innovative skincare formulators who specifically focus on skin barrier health.

Eagle-eyed shoppers have noticed the range in their local discount store is significantly cheaper than the original brand.

“At Aura, we understand that your skin is only as happy as you are,” Home Bargains bosses said.

“So, that’s why we want to bring you products that brighten both your day and your body

“We’ve worked tirelessly to formulate products that strengthen and boost your skin’s natural barrier while remaining efficient, inclusive and simple.

“Happy skin, happy you.”

The Aura Smoothing Jelly Cleanser costs £3.49 and is a dupe for Byoma’s £9.99 Byoma Creamy Jelly Cleanser.

“Revitalise your skin with Aura Jelly Cleaner,” a blurb reads.

“This 140ml smoothing cleanser is designed to brighten your day and boost your skin’s natural barrier, ensuring happy skin and a happy you.”

Similarly, the Aura Clarifying Face Mist at £3.59 is a dupe for the £11.99 Byoma Balancing Face Mist.

Home Bargains becomes first store to drop £2.99 dupes of sell-out skincare brand & the full range will save you over £100

Aura’s £2.99 Smoothing Rich Cream is a dupe for Byoma’s £13.99 Moisturizing Rich Cream.

“Discover the Aura Rich Cream, a 95ml delight designed to smooth and brighten your skin while boosting its natural barrier,” a blurb reads.

There’s multiple Aura serums to choose from too - just like at Byoma.

However, all of the Home Bargains bottles will set you back just £2.99, compared to £12.99 at Byoma.

Why is looking after your skin barrier so important?

The skin barrier is essential for maintaining healthy skin because it acts as a protective shield against external aggressors.

It acts as a defense layer against pollutants, UV radiation, bacteria, and allergens.

A healthy barrier can better protect against these harmful elements, reducing irritation and inflammation.

A strong skin barrier helps keep skin hydrated and balanced, which is essential for skin elasticity and smoothness.

This is important for reducing the appearance of fine lines and maintaining a youthful look.

When the barrier is healthy, it absorbs skincare products more effectively, allowing active ingredients to work as intended.

Conversely, a compromised barrier may hinder their absorption and effectiveness.

Among the options are a “hydrating” formula and a “smoothing” formula.

“Transform your skincare routine with Aura Face Serum,” a blurb reads.

“Packed with bakuchiol and niacinamide, the 100ml smoothing serum brightens your complexion while strengthening your skin’s natural barrier for a truly radiant glow.

“The hydrating serum is packed with squalane and hyaluronic acid for that perfect plump and hydration boost.

“Made in England, this 100ml miracle worker is all about happy skin and a happier you.”
