‘Was not expecting this’ Sue Radford says at Noel’s ‘big surprise’ after news Britain’s Biggest Family is getting bigger

SUE Radford has been left beaming after dad-of-22 Noel’s ‘big surprise’.
Just two days after the news that Britain's Biggest Family is getting bigger, after Chloe Radford, 29, announced that she is expecting another baby, Noel has decided to give Sue, 49, yet another shock.

Whilst the family’s matriarch was away camping with the kids, Noel stayed home at their 'millionaire mansion' and got to work on the surprise.
Posting on social media, Noel explained how he left his wife, whom he’s been married to since 1992, totally stunned, with an epic bedroom makeover.
Switching their dated, blue floral wallpaper for a chic, black, panelled look, Noel was seen in the midst of his DIY project, as he said: “Don’t you just love it when it comes off like that?”
The savvy father, who has his very own pie shop - Radford’s Pie Company - then shared his simple DIY trick that makes decorating much easier.

As he held up a cookie cutter, he beamed: “I’ve got a tip for anyone out there who is struggling to get the backing paper off the walls.
“Wet it, and if you’ve lost your wallpaper scraper, this is a damn good tool.
“A Christmas tree cutter. I’m not kidding, it works really well.
“I reckon that's actually quicker than a wallpaper scraper.”

Moments later, we saw Sue arrive home, clearly overjoyed with her posh new bedroom.
She blushed: “Well, I got back last night from camping and what a surprise… look at this room.

“I can’t believe Noel has actually surprised me with this.
“He’s been wanting to do this boarding on the wall for so long now and we just never get a chance to do anything like that.
“And then he was like, ‘I’ve got a big surprise for you when you get home’.
“He said, ‘I’m gonna get rid of a load of rubbish from the house this weekend whilst you’re away with the kids and I’m going to have a real good tidy up’. I was not expecting this.”

At the time of writing, the TikTok clip, which was posted just two hours ago on the official @ account, has quickly amassed over 5,500 views.
Noel’s bedroom makeover has clearly impressed many, as fans flocked to the comments to compliment the overhaul, as well as Noel’s DIY advice.
How does family-of-22 the Radfords afford to live?
AS Britain's biggest family, it may come as no surprise that Sue and Noel Radford must have some hefty bills.
Between them, they have a whopping 22 children and seven dogs, which often has some people wonder how they manage their money.
The Radfords support themselves with the proceeds of Noel’s bakery, The Radford Pie Company, which is located near their home.
On their , it says: “We have owned our own lovely bakery since 1999 which is how we manage to provide for (and feed) our huge and expanding family as well as for the local people of Heysham and Morecambe.”
The family expanded their business to cater to online orders placed across the UK.
The business is a family affair, with Noel at the helm, and some of their children helping out.
The older kids, who are working at least part-time, don't get a free ride as they're made to pay a small amount of rent to their parents.
"Us older ones do pay a little bit of board. Granted it’s not a lot but I’m also trying to save up for my own house at the moment.” their daughter Chloe said in a video on the .
Sue added: "We’ve always said if you want to buy somewhere, renting is a bit of dead money, so we’d rather you saved that money up and stayed at home a bit longer.
“I also do believe they should pay board if they are earning. We’ve always been brought up by our parents that we had to pay board.”
Noel and Sue famously don’t rely on benefits for their bumper brood and live off their pie shop for income.
They also revealed they make money from brand partnerships on social media.
The Radford family stars in their own reality TV show 22 Kids and Counting - which has run for four series.
Brand expert Andy Barr believes Noel and Sue have been paid less than £10,000 for each show.
He told the : "The typical fee per episode is going to be in the thousands rather than the tens or hundreds of thousands that people often think is the case with TV shows of this nature.
"If they continue to get commissioned for a fourth or fifth season, then they are going to be able to command a higher fee.";
He estimates that the Radfords make £ 5,000 an episode.

Sue and Noel’s bedroom makeover comes just days after Chloe Radford’s pregnancy announcement.
Noel and Sue’s second eldest daughter took to Instagram to share a heart-warming video, revealing the exciting news.

The 29-year-old revealed how she is expecting to become a family of four alongside her security guard boyfriend Jacob Wallace.
Chloe, who already shares adorable daughter Mila, two, with Jacob shared the sweet footage with her 153,000 followers showing off a positive pregnancy test.
