A WOMAN who has made over £80,000 on Vinted has revealed her top tips for making sales.
Vinted is an online marketplace where people can buy and sell second hand clothes, shoes and accessories.

Irem revealed that uploading items consistently is really important, as it helps your account to always stay at the top of the search results.
This is because Vinted filters items by the newest first, so the more often you upload things, the more likely your items are to get seen.

With this in mind, Irem advised that if you have 20 items to sell, you should upload five each day for four days.
Lighting
Irem revealed that the quality of your photos is super important, so you should always make sure to use a white background, so that your clothes stand out.
She added that it's a good idea to purchase a ring light or a white backdrop to help show off your clothes the best you can.
Relist
If you are struggling to sell items after a few weeks, Irem advised deleting them and re-uploading them.
In order to give your new listings the best chance of taking off, it's a good idea to use better quality photos and put more keywords in the description.
Hashtags
Irem's final tip is to make sure you add hashtags at the end of your listing.
Hashtags help to make items more visible and searchable, and can help boost audience engagement.

According to the popular platform, sellers do not have to pay tax on earnings they make from the site.
This, HMRC stated, is because selling personal items through platforms like Vinted is not itself taxable.
''If the money a member makes on Vinted over a year is less than the amount they paid for the items they are selling, then there is no tax to pay,'' a Vinted spokesperson explained.
''Generally, only business sellers "trading" for profit might need to pay tax.
