House hunters STUNNED by £90k home’s ‘council chic’ interior design choice – could you live there?

Even Keith Lemon would be amazed if he went through the keyhole of this pad...

HOUSE hunters have been left utterly stunned by what an unassuming three-bed terrace house going for £90,000 looks like behind it's normal exterior - and have branded it "council chic".

The Mexborough home in South Yorkshire is up for grabs on Rightmove but the listing has gone viral on social media too all thanks to it's 'designer' furnishings.

Every room in the terrace is decked from floor to ceiling out with massive 'Chanel' logo stickers which adorn kitchen cupboards, the bathtub - and even the toilet.

Other aspects people weren't impressed with include its grey walls, "fake Prada bedsheets" and crushed velvet interiors.

One TikTok user joked: "It’s an advertisement for B&M", while another quipped: "There's probably Chanel bags worth more than that entire house".

Some alluded to the fact that the logo stood for "council chic" and a different user said: "Fiat 500 final boss".

While some slammed the house for its interiors, others were more distracted by its price point.

One penned: "This would be £300,000 down south" and another felt "90,000 is a steal" though".

Another astonished house hunter remarked: "£90k for a house? That’s like just over half a house deposit down south."

A different user reinforced this point and felt the furnishings were no big deal as "the stickers will peel off anyway".

And one dubbed it the "average Mexborough house".

And someone else felt like it was "something you'd see on a Channel 5 show".

Another wrote: "They forgot to slap a sticker on the Chanel boiler", in reference to the owner placing the logo on white goods around the home.

The home is currently listed on Rightmove with three bedrooms and one bathroom, advertised with having a bay window lounge and enclosed rear courtyard.

It also features a separate dining room and cellar which could work as effective storage or another room.

This property is sold on a freehold basis. So would you snap it up for £90K?
