A COUPLE who were happily married for seven years have added a third partner to their relationship – celebrating their union with an unofficial wedding.

When Débora Peixoto, 31, wed her second-cousin Anderson Peixoto, 61, the pair had no intentions to venture beyond their twosome.

But then Débora met Luiza Marcato, 28.

She says the chemistry between the pair was “instantaneous” and led her to having a sit-down with her hubby to ask if he’d be up for opening up their marriage.

“The chemistry between me and Luiza was instantaneous,” the content creator, who has 672,000 followers on Instagram, told .

“When I met her [Luiza], I felt an immediate connection.

“I couldn’t ignore what was happening.

“We’ve created our own rules and it works for us.

“The marriage is not just about us as individuals but about the bond we’ve built together as a trio.”

The throuple, all hailing from Brazil, are off to enjoy a honeymoon soon.

Débora said: “We decided that it [the wedding ceremony] was the right way to express our love, even though we know we may face criticism and challenges.

“The important thing is that we feel happy and secure in our decision.

“The chosen ceremony to seal our union was symbolic, reflecting our desire to celebrate love without the need for traditional formalities.

“The event, which included only close family and friends, symbolised the new chapter in our lives that we have decided to embark on together.”

Débora, who has a child from a previous relationship, made it clear that she does not plan to expand the family with more children.

She said: “For me, the focus now is on strengthening the dynamic of our throuple.

“Enjoying the adventures and this new phase of our relationship.”

To maintain balance in the relationship, the trio have even come up with a detailed contract with specific rules.

How does polyamory work?

Polyamory is a form of ethical, or consensual, non-monogamy that involves having romantic or sexual relationships with multiple partners at the same time.

Ethical, or consensual, non-monogamy describes relationships in which all parties are aware of and consent to practice non-monogamy

She said: “The contract includes clauses such as equal attention, where Anderson must offer the same level of affection and dedication to both of us.

“Another important point is the travel decision clause, in which I, as the primary partner, have the final say on travel destinations.

“Additionally, the contract states that he must have at least 10 sexual relations with each of us every month.

“There are also mandatory monthly meetings to discuss any dissatisfaction or adjustments to the rules, ensuring that everyone is aligned and satisfied with the dynamic.”

If the contract is not followed, the influencer claims a fine of £4,000, (R$30,000) – for each broken rule – though she does not reveal who gets the cash or if it goes into a pot.

The throuple look forward to their future together and say they had the “most amazing” time at their unofficial wedding.

Luiza, who has 400,000 followers on Instagram, added: “We are aware that a relationship like ours may be difficult for others to understand, but for us, it makes sense.

“Our love is based on trust and mutual respect, and this ceremony is proof of that.”

Anderson, who has 68,800 followers added: “Being in a throuple has its challenges but it’s also incredibly rewarding.
