The beauty fan, who owns two salons and does make-up for a living, explained that now her hair is thick and healthy and her regrowth is ‘insane’.

Posting on social media under the username @, the brunette beauty revealed how she has grown her locks, in a clip captioned ‘I’m so proud of my hair growth.’

As she blow dried her hair and showed off her regrowth in the now-viral TikTok video, she said: “This is actually insane - that is all my new hair growth, I don't think I've seen this much baby hair growth on my head since possibly postpartum.

“Last year, I really decided that I wanted to change my hair overnight. I took my virgin, natural hair and pulled it to a blonde, which I wouldn't say did the most damage to my hair, but it got worse from there.”

Amanada explained that she experimented with different types of hair extensions and cuts, which caused bald patches and her hair to fall out in clumps.

As a result, she shared: “My hair just kept getting shorter and shorter and thinner and thinner, and I knew that it was time to stop.”

The mother then revealed the beauty buys that have helped to transform her locks.

Not only did she swear by the Cliganic Jojoba Oil and the Bur Bur Botanical Hair Treatment, but she also uses a scalp massager and a dermal roller too.

Whilst she also uses a posh hair growth machine, for those on a budget, you’ll be pleased to know that she also swears by the , which is just £10.99 from Boots.

The science behind Rosemary Oil

ROSEMARY oil has garnered attention for its potential to promote hair growth, and there is a growing body of scientific evidence to support its efficiency.

Here's a look at the mechanisms through which rosemary oil may benefit your hair:

Improving Blood Circulation

Rosemary oil is known to enhance blood circulation when applied to the scalp. Improved blood flow ensures that hair follicles receive more oxygen and nutrients, which are essential for healthy hair growth.

Anti-Inflammatory Properties

Inflammation of the scalp can lead to hair loss and hinder hair growth. Rosemary oil contains anti-inflammatory compounds like carnosic acid and rosmarinic acid, which can help reduce inflammation and create a healthier environment for hair growth.

Antioxidant Effects

Rosemary oil is rich in antioxidants, which combat free radicals that can damage hair follicles. By neutralising these harmful molecules, rosemary oil helps maintain the health of hair follicles and supports robust hair growth.

DHT Reduction

Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is a hormone linked to hair loss, particularly in cases of androgenetic alopecia (pattern baldness). Some studies suggest that rosemary oil might inhibit the production of DHT, thereby helping to prevent hair loss associated with this condition.

Antimicrobial Properties

Scalp infections caused by bacteria or fungi can lead to hair loss. Rosemary oil has antimicrobial properties that can help keep the scalp clean and free from infections, fostering a healthier environment for hair growth.

Stress Reduction

Chronic stress is a known factor that can contribute to hair loss. The aromatic properties of rosemary oil are often used in aromatherapy to reduce stress and anxiety, indirectly benefiting hair health.

The oil has long been raved about by beauty fans, and has now amassed over 1,100 positive reviews and an average rating of 4.7 out of five on Beauty Bay

Many claimed that their locks now feel “stronger and shinier” and praised the attractive smell too.

Everything you need to know about hair loss

Marie Nieuwoudt, a Group Education Manager at told Fabulous everything you need to know regarding hair loss.

What are the common causes of hair loss?

Marie explained: "There are so many reasons why someone may face hair loss.

"The number one reason is usually hormonal changes or underlying health conditions (like thyroid conditions), and stress of
course also plays a big part in changes to your hair health.

"But another very common day-to-day cause is excessive damage to your hair created by mistakes in your styling routines – and this a
big one to be aware of for people who are regularly applying heat to their hair!

"It’s important to know the right temperature for your hair type when using styling tools, as this is essential in reducing unintentional heat damage.

"I also see a lot of people facing hair loss resulting from hereditary conditions, which are passed down from generation to generation."

What are the best hairstyles people should try to reduce their hair loss?

According to Marie: "Less is more when it comes to hair loss! It’s important to be gentle with your hair, so a low-maintenance style that limits pulling on your scalp will be your best option.

"Putting your hair up in a tight ponytail or adding hair clips can cause stress points at the roots.

"Instead, try leaving your hair down, or out.

"You’re not limited in your options, but it pays to be intentional with your hair styling. Using tools which limit damage to your hair is vital.

"Discussing your concerns with a hairdresser or hair loss specialist is also a great way to find styles that suit your specific needs, whilst still making sure you look and feel your best."

How long does it take for hair loss to stop?

If you're itching to know when your hair will grow back, Marie confirmed: "Hair loss is a personal journey – and it’s different for everyone, so it’s very difficult to put exact timings on this process.

"Every head of hair is unique, and so too is your hair loss experience.

"As always, you can speak to a professional hairdresser or trichologist about your specific concerns and hair changes, and they’ll be able to help you manage those expectations.

"I can’t emphasise enough how important it is to be kind to your hair. Most people treat their hair quite roughly, and this is something you definitely want to avoid when dealing with hair loss in particular.

"Make sure you’re choosing products and styling routines that you know are good for your hair, rather than causing additional damage."

One person said: “A little goes a long way - smells amazing, hair feels shiny and nourished.

“Great scalp treatment too - would recommend especially if struggling with dry scalp or dry ends.”

Another added: “The hair feels stronger and shinier. I put a small amount on my scalp every day for two weeks and l definitely can see some results.”

A third commented: “It’s amazing, I’m already seeing new growth. It smells great and everything is great.”

How can I fix dye damaged hair?

Have you taken the dye too far? There are some ways to fix this WITHOUT chopping the whole lot off.

  1. Give it a trim: we're not saying you have to cut the whole lot off, but you should trim the worst offending split ends.
  2. Ditch the heat products: stop straightening/curling your hair immediately.
  3. Stop dying your hair: step away from the bleach, and starting using ammonia-free semi-permanent dyes for now.
  4. Switch to sulfate free: use kinder, sulfate-free shampoos and conditions to repair your damaged hair. And don't shampoo more than twice a week if possible, because this strips damaged hair and makes it brittle.
  5. Treatment masks: use one of these hair treatment masks, listed below, to rejuvenate your locks.
  6. Sun protection: cover your damaged hair when sunbathing or swimming in a chlorinated pool, to prevent further damage.
  7. Eat your hair healthy: make sure you drink lots of water, eat Omega 3 fatty acids found in salmon, walnuts and flaxseeds, and green veg like spinach, kale, carrots and avocado. Some pre-natal supplements also promote hair growth.
