And with Christmas just around the corner, this year's toy event saw bargain-mad Aldi shoppers pile their trolleys high - with dozens of customers queuing outside since 7am, despite the chilly weather.

One of those keen to get her hands on the popular kid essentials was mum Wallis Eve, who shared the manic scenes inside and outside the German retailer on TikTok.

, which has racked up more than a staggering 2.1million views in just one day, saw numerous money-smart Brits lining up by the entrance in the early hours of the morning.

According to Wallis, despite reaching the store by 7.30am, there were already several bargain hunters in front of her.

Once the cash-savvy mum had managed to get inside , the store was already chock-a-block of customers looking to purchase anything they could from the much-anticipated event.

As Wallis (@) was filming the pure chaos at the supermarket, she could see fellow fans pushing their trolleys filled to the brim with boxes of toys.

Whilst some only contained a few , other shoppers appeared to have grabbed as much as they could - one customer, the clip revealed, appeared to have taken a whopping ten boxes of goodies.

This was then beaten by another bargain lover who had chucked at least 16 toys in their shopping trolley, as they were walking around the store.
