Mums fret as pregnant Megan McKenna packs £1.6k baby bag – as there’s £90 slippers, an £80 camera but only ONE nappy

MEGAN McKenna has left mums fretting after she packed her baby bag as she prepares to give birth to her first child.

The pregnant reality TV star, 32, proudly showed off her £1.6k designer baby bag from Prada, which she stuffed full with all things from £90 slippers to an £80 camera.

Not only did the mum-to-be pack a huge selection of baby clothes, bibs, blankets and muslins, but she also stocked up on snacks and creams too.

But despite this, the country singer, who admitted to feeling “so overwhelmed” shared that she was only taking one nappy, leaving parents gobsmacked.

In the short clip posted on social media, Megan, who recently left mums saying the same thing about her neutral nursery, said: “It's time to pack. I’ve got two [bags] and I'm gonna have a separate one for myself.”

Megan then revealed all of the things she was packing for her hospital trip, as she explained: “Camera. My sister got me this one. 40 polaroids of colour - two black and white ones, I just think it's important to have options.

“White noise machine - it changes colour and stuff. 

“Hot and cold gel things for your boobies.”

She then revealed that she would be taking just one nappy, as she added: “Hospital said they're gonna have it, but I'm just gonna pack one [nappy] as a back-up in case on the way home the baby just has explosive diarrhoea and we don't know what to do.”

Following this, she continued: “Nappy rash creams and a little brush, because I think our baby's gonna have a lot of hair.

“My mum got me a little nail thing now to shave the baby's nails down.”

She made sure to pack her Stanley cup, as she shared: “That is being packed because I am one thirsty human.”

Not only this, but she also said: “Comforter, three blankets - my sister got me this baby Burke one, it's so cute. 

“This basically is a bag full of dummies, I just got neutral ones.

“Gluten free snacks, three boxes of chocolate digestive biscuits, crackers, gluten free Pringles, a loaf of gluten free bread, gluten free Kinder Bueno things, gluten free cereal.”

Not only did she pack two nighties, but she also showed off her posh Ugg slippers, which retail for £90, as she added: “I'm packing slippers, I've actually just got new slippers.”

That wasn’t all, as Megan, who recently opened up on her rollercoaster fertility journey with ‘months of injections’, also shared: “Disposable underwear, some nipple covers, nipple cream, and Vaseline, because you guys told me your lips get really dry.

“Five muslins - two big ones and three little ones. I think five bibs will probably be enough.

“Socks, just little white ones and then I'm just gonna pack two little sets of neutral socks.

“It looks like I'm packing so much, but I'm not because it's obviously not gonna wear one of the sizes.”

If that wasn’t enough, the brunette beauty, who is expecting her first child with footballer Oliver "Oli" Burke, 27, thanks to in vitro fertilisation (IVF), also packed three newborn outfits, three outfits in zero-12 months and four vests.

Clearly slightly concerned, she asked: “Is that enough? This is zero to three months just in case the baby is absolutely gigantic.

“Also gonna pack a white swaddle, then finally some mitts, just a couple of hats to go with the baby grows.”

Once the packing was complete, the TOWIE star, who first gained popularity when she appeared on the third series of the British reality television show, Ex on the Beach in 2015, shared: “I'm ready to go. 

“I look like I'm going on holiday for two weeks, but this is really hard, isn't it?

“Packing is really overwhelming. I'm not gonna lie, it's really, really overwhelming.”

Megan’s TikTok clip, which was posted just three days ago on her , has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 395,300 views. 

But social media users were stunned by Megan’s hospital bag - not only at the mass of stuff, but also by the lack of nappies.

Another added: “Need at least 10 nappies, won't need infacol or nappy cream so early on.” 

A third commented: “Take more nappies, you will go through loads figuring out what you like best.”

Whilst someone else advised: “Definitely more than one nappy required. Good luck!”

To this, Megan clapped back and wrote: “Not in Germany. They supply it all.” 

At the same time, one user shared: “You do not need most of what you have packed at all!” 

Another joked: “I feel like you're preparing for a nuclear war.” 

Meanwhile, one mother penned: “Girl, I left the hospital in the trousers my waters broke in! I gave birth at 10:30 and left by 4pm. I think all I used were nappies and one outfit for the baby! You will not use all that!”

In response, Megan wrote back and responded: “They keep you in way longer in Germany. That’s your experience that won’t be mine.”
