I’m a flashy mum and love kitting out my daughters in designer buys, Gucci dresses and £500 bags set them up for success
A MUM who kits her two daughters out in designer gear reckons splashing cash sets them up for success.
Jaelyn Cox, 30, loves seeing her little girls Valentina, four and Valencia, 18 months, decked out head to toe in pricey fashion brands and doesn’t see a problem.
The dancer, from Glasgow, prides herself on providing for family and thinks any critics are just jealous of her.
She said: “I think buying your kids designer stuff does make them want better in life.
“Taking your kids to nice restaurants, on good holidays and buying them expensive clothes is setting them up to be more successful and ambitious.
“It’s showing them that you need to work hard to have nice stuff and that people treat you better when you’re in designer clothes.”
Jaelyn has also handed her four-year-old a bank card to go shopping.
She wants to teach her girls financial independence and reckons it’s important that they understand the value of money.
Though it’s unusual, she’s adamant that giving little Valentina more responsibility has paid off in a big way.
She said: “My daughter is four and has her own savings account.

The mum also caused a stir by claiming women should go on holiday and leave their kids at home.
She loves jetting off for sunshine breaks and thinks it’s important to treat herself well.
Jaelyn said: "Going on holiday with your kids is so stressful.
