A BEAUTICIAN has revealed the three things people shouldn’t be embarrassed about when they get a wax.
The professional bikini waxer, Jessica Normanton, explained that there’s no need to be worried about being hairy.
Not only this, but she also claimed that waxers don’t care if you’ve got lumps or bumps down there.
Posting on social media, the 29-year-old blonde, from Halifax, West Yorkshire, owner of The Brazilian Wax Company, revealed “three things that you find embarrassing, that your waxer doesn't even bat an eyelid at.”
So if you’ve got a wax booked, and are feeling anxious about getting your bits out in front of a stranger, then look no further, as the self-proclaimed “hairy fairy godmother” has shared everything you need to know before your appointment.

She revealed: “Girl, that is what you booked the appointment for.
“We are expecting to see a mass amount of hair and there isn't, we would be unhappy and we wouldn't be able to do the treatment.
“So stop being embarrassed about how hairy you are, we are happy about it.”
Your reaction during a wax
Not only this, but Jessica also shared that people shouldn’t be embarrassed about how they react when having a wax.

The beauty pro added: “Listen, you can swear, shout, go silent, flinch, all of the above.
“It doesn't matter, as long as you get yourself through that wax, it doesn't matter what you do.
“We are here to help you through it. Your waxer is never, ever, gonna judge you.
“Listen, I get called all sorts of names under the sun. Having a reaction during your wax is fine, you're having hair pulled out your body, it's fine.”
Getting your coochie out
And if it’s taking off your knickers that is giving you the fear, don’t worry, as Jessica has set the record straight.
She expressed: “That is an issue for so many women, but let me tell you, your waxer has seen hundreds.
“Personally, I have seen thousands and thousands of coochies.
How to prepare for a bikini wax
IF you're thinking of booking a bikini wax, here's how you can prepare.
Choose the Right Time: Schedule your appointment at least a week after your menstrual cycle when your pain threshold is higher.
Exfoliate: Gently exfoliate the bikini area a day or two before your wax to remove dead skin cells and prevent ingrown hairs.
Trim Hair: Ensure hair is about 1/4 inch long; if it’s longer, trim it down for a smoother waxing process.
Avoid Caffeine and Alcohol: Steer clear of caffeine and alcohol on the day of your appointment as they can tighten pores and increase sensitivity.
Take a Pain Reliever: Consider taking an over-the-counter pain reliever about 30 minutes before your appointment to help minimise discomfort.
Wear Loose Clothing: Opt for loose-fitting clothes on the day of your waxing to avoid irritation post-treatment.
Communicate with Your Aesthetician: Don’t hesitate to discuss any concerns or questions with your aesthetician before the session begins.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water leading up to your appointment to keep your skin hydrated and more supple.
“I do not care what it looks like, I am looking for the hair, let me get that hair out of it.
“I don't care if your inner lips are long, I don't care if you've got lumps, I don't care if you've got bumps, I don't care if you've got ingrown hairs.
“Stop stressing. You're fine, your waxer is a professional, she's not here to judge you, she's here to help you. Stop worrying.”
