A WOMAN who is 40 but is constantly mistaken for being 20 years younger, has shared her top tips for youthful skin.
Adriana said people can't believe it when she tells them her age, and insists that she doesn't bother with any expensive skincare products.
"The biggest mistake I've seen is when people spend a lot of money on expensive skincare and don't do two expensive things that make your skin beautiful", she said in a video posted to TikTok.
Adriana explained that she has tried to use expensive skincare products in the past, but they didn't respond very well to her skin.
"I stick with what works for me", she said.
SPF
Adriana makes sure to wear factor 50 suncream on her face and neck every day.

Sun damage is the leading cause of premature skin ageing, and can also lead to skin cancer, so it is vital to wear SPF every day.

Water
Adriana said that she drinks around two to three litres of water a day.
She said she drinks half a litre before breakfast, one litre at lunch and then two glasses after she comes home from work.

Drinking water helps skin to maintain moisture and elasticity, which can reduce wrinkles and signs of premature ageing.
The mum of one added that she also makes sure to use a good cleanser and moisturiser.

Tips to age well
There are a number of habits you can take up to care for your health and wellbeing as you age.
Age UK shared the following tips:
- Do things that you enjoy everyday - whether that's cooking, seeing friends or enjoying a good book
- Stay hydrated - drink six to eight cups of water a day
- Eat plenty of fruit and veggies to lower your risk of heart disease and certain cancers, have beans, pulses, fish, eggs and meat to repair your body after injury, starchy carbs for energy dairy to help keep bones strong
- Manage long-term health conditions to prevent them progressing or having a greater impact on your health
- Quit smoking and reduce alcohol intake to no more than 14 units a week
- Make mental health a priority and get treatment for it, as it can also impact physical health
- Make sure you're getting quality sleep
- Keep socialising - and call a friend or loved one if you can't make it out the house
- Be physically active to lower the risk of depression and dementia, heart disease, stroke, Parkinson’s and some cancers
