Shoppers race to Lidl for ‘absolute steal’ dupe of Ninja DOUBLE air fryer – and it’s £145 cheaper

AIR fryers have fast become the backbone of many British kitchens. 

But with branded models costing up to £300 a pop, many of us are on the hunt for budget-friendly gadgets. 

Luckily for penny-conscious Brits, Lidl has thrown ANOTHER hat into the ring. 

Alongside its latest offering of pastel air fryers, the budget supermarket has released a Ninja air fryer dupe. 

Ninja’s gadgets are often considered the holy grail of air frying. 

Its Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer with Smart Cook System AF451UK costs an eye-watering £269.99. 

The brand’s smallest model - the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer- AF300UK - is still a whopping £199.99. 

However, Lidl’s Gourmetmaxx Double Air Fryer 7L is said to do the job just as well at £29.99. 

Not only that, but the two-tray kitchen gadget looks pretty similar to Ninja’s flagship one. 

The budget air fryer was unearthed by shopper Paula R Nicholls in the German retailer’s Tondu, Bridgend store. 

She shared her find in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group. 

“Now that is a real bargain,” Nikki Johnson commented. 

“That’s an absolute steal,” Tari Kenia added.

“I wish I saw this before forking out on my expensive one!” Carla Walters moaned.

A blurb on the air fryer reads: “The double chamber hot air fryer combines a hot air oven, grill and deep fryer.
