In his viral video, the husband of Yulia Hayek (@the_hayeks) demonstrated the DIY process for his followers.

"Point of view: You are surprising your wife with a handmade vanity table," he wrote in the clip.

The TikToker began by emptying his wife's make-up bag onto a circular tray.

He arranged all of her everyday products, all of which were still full, on the plastic material.

The beauty product haul included items from high-end brands such as YSL and Dior.

Once he had placed all the cosmetics face up, he mixed Crystal Clear Epoxy Resin A and B and poured it over the tray.

He continued to fill the tray until all the products were entirely covered.

In a second clip, the TikToker showed his audience an update of the homemade vanity table.

However, the resin hadn't dried properly, causing the products to stick out the top.

Since this meant the surface of the table would be uneven, the couple scrapped the project.

Yulia explained that she liked the idea so much that they planned to replicate the DIY project.

TikTok users shared their thoughts on the vanity table in the comments section.

"WHAT have you DONE?" asked one shocked viewer.

"Sir, I need confirmation that the compacts were empty pleaseeeee," said another follower.

"That's cute but she's going to get mad about all her expensive products being stuck," pointed out a third person.
