AN itchy and flaky scalp brought nothing but frustration to one woman until she found a budget-friendly buy.

She said prescription-strength shampoos weren’t as effective as the drugstore haircare product for treating her dandruff.

The beauty enthusiast revealed how she transformed her hair and scalp in response to a post on Reddit.

“I had terrible dandruff for years,” she said, writing under the handle .

“I swapped between various medicated shampoos every couple of months because one would work for a while, then sort of wear off. 

“I even tried prescription-strength ones. None worked for more than a few months.”
