A BEAUTY fan has shared her DIY body scrub that is good for your skin and doesn't break the bank.
She said the recipe is similar to what is found in a Turkish bathhouse and all of the ingredients are probably already in your kitchen.
When it comes to self-care, Reddit user Cautious_Ice_884 knows how to save money.
She opened up about her budget-friendly tips and tricks in a , including the natural scrub she makes at home.
BROKE BODY SCRUB
The skincare fan offered up a "broke a** tip for a body scrub" made out of items found in your kitchen.
She recommended a combination of sugar and olive oil for a "really hydrating basic scrub," saying coffee grounds would also work.

"Add in honey, coconut oil, or an essential oil, and you can make a really nice scrub," she said.
She added that you can also use sea salt or kosher salt as a scrub on its own.
"Just make sure it is not too coarse. It's really good for your skin; they do this in hammams," she said.
A hammam is a public bathhouse normally associated with Islamic cultures.

"I like doing things that make me feel pampered," she explained.
She "especially" loves a hot towel on her hands and face because it feels "so luxurious," "doesn't cost anything," and is "really good for the skin."
Another thing she does that "feels luxurious" to her is standing under cold water at the end of her shower.
"Cold water is good for your hair and it's really good for your body," she said. "Not too cold though — just enough where I can stand it."
An alternative is to get a small bowl and throw cold water on your body in the shower.
She said it makes her feel like she's in a hammam.
As an added touch, she places a eucalyptus branch in her shower because it "smells like you're at a spa."
NAIL NEEDS
The Redditor also detailed how she cut costs on her nails since she stopped going to the salon and started doing them herself.
"I'd say doing your nails yourself will save a ton of money at the end of the day," she said.
She admitted that she loves getting her nails done professionally, but she was saving over $130 a month with her at-home manicures.
Now, she uses regular nail polish and applies it every three to four days, depending on when the color starts to chip.
"I just cannot stand chipped nails. So I do my due diligence and do them often enough so it always looks fresh and I feel good about it," she said.
BUDGET SKINCARE
She shared that she uses drugstore products to complete her "basic skincare routine."
